It's tough to call it a summer vacation when we are technically on vacation from work all summer (teacher life.) But, we decided to change up our annual trip to Virginia and add in a stop to Jacksonville, Florida to see more of Joe's family. Traveling with a 20 month old is no easy task. Not just the excess gear we bring (really I'm not sure how a toddler packs more than two adults) but the long drive, 8 hours to Rocky Mount and then another 8 hours to Jacksonville. We tried to break the trip up but with Colton sick we trekked on. It was rough, but once we brought Colton to the children's hospital of Jacksonville and got his medicine straightened out, it was pretty much smooth sailing the remainder of the trip. Here are a few favorites of our time down south. Colton gets to be a super outdoorsy kid down at mom-mom and pop-pop's! We made it to Jacksonville! Joe and I had the opportunity to get away for a bit and headed down to St. Augustine for a few days! Lastly, we got to spend time with our first baby, Tebow. Tebow has been spending time with Joe's parents in Virginia while we are trying to find a new house in north Jersey. We miss him tons but he has lots of love there! Thank you all for taking a sneak peek into life away (but not really) from behind the camera! Much Love,
